Project: GE Healthcare Drives

These where drives conducted for GE Healthcare Europe Service team

·               Global Application Simplification 2013

This project involved portfolio management of all the application under the Service team in Europe. We had to talk to the application owner of over 224 application and determine if the application was scheduled to be retired or can be replaced or to be upgraded and continued with. This was budgeted under the services long term plan.

·               Office 2010 and Windows7 2010 -2011

This project was to test all the application the services portfolio to determine if they were compatible with office 2010 and Win7 OS. If they were not compatible had to draw up an initial remediation plan and follow through to make sure timelines committed by the application owners were met and to highlight any issues or risks faced by the application owner to the IT services Lead and PMO team. This was budgeted under the services long term plan. 

·               Budapest to Buc datacentre migration 2011-2012

This project was to migrate about 177 applications from the Budapest datacentre to the BUC datacentre. It involved working closing with the Server / Compute team and the different technology teams like Citrix, WebService, WebMethods, Oracle DBA teams to make sure that the different application migration and data migrations happened in such a fashion so as to appear seamless to the end users.

 

 

Project: GE Healthcare- TRAX (Transportation Management System)                                                                                     

Role: IT Project Manager, SCRUM Master

Project Location:   BUC, France (May-Jun 2010), Bangalore, India

 

This project is related to Transportation Management System for the global Transportation of parts used   in servicing of Medical equipment produced by GE Healthcare, this system helped chose the best economically viable solution to ship the parts based on business requirement and rules. Thus saving the Service team $500K on a monthly basis.
